Orson Scott Card was recommended to me by a dear friend in my varsity years sometime back, and ‘cos this was my first read from this (sf) genre, i guess i kinda came to it without too many coloured views/ expectations too.

Even so, was totally impressed by Orson Scott Card’s wit and deft handling of weighty issues, woven within a comfortable narrative.
Thanks for your sweet comment, am definitely gonna make a mental note to check out the series, esp. Ender’s Shadow. ;)

Been a rather draining triple-week thus far, owing to duties@work.
So, one of the unsung blessings am grateful for is that i get to work with sweet friends.
Love how even in our tired states, each kindred soul thinks (and worries) for the other.

'Tis - gorgeous, i know - cookie tin above (with delicious cranberry-and-grape-flavoured cookies tucked within, like the yummy sample at the edge of the teardrop-shaped tin cover), was a heartwarming gift from Karen, a sweet friend & colleague i owe much in thanks to. ;-)
